The Carrie. As versatile as your everyday life.

The Carrie delivers on its promise: our compact cargo bike offers the largest-possible loading surface on as small a space as possible. Forget heavy bags or rucksacks – you can choose from a wealth of transport accessories for all your needs. When folded out, the optional Flex Box provides plenty of storage space, yet you can effortlessly ride through narrow lanes and find a parking space almost anywhere when it is collapsed. And its minimalist frame in bold glossy colours simply needs to be seen.

The R&M Carrie Cargo eBike is available in two models:

• Carrie Touring: includes a chain and a Microshift 10 speed cassette
• Carrie Vario: uses a low-maintenance Gates Carbon Belt and Enviolo CVT for smooth shifts, the ability shift while stopped and a lower cost of ownership and less maintenance (recommended)

Compact shape

A bike for any time and anywhere.

Minimal parking space and tight curves: you no longer have these worries with the Carrie. Thanks to its narrow 43 cm Basic Box, you can now ride with as much agility as on a regular bike, and you’ll always find a place to park it in the bike area in the basement. And with its two-legged stand, you can simply jack up the cargo bike and safely park it even with it fully loaded. When collapsed, the optional Flex Box is high enough to transport a regular drinks crate – even up to three when folded out. However, go for the carrier with MIK system if you want to carry even more. (Loading space approved for up to max. 80 kg, carrier approved for up to max. 27 kg.)

The inside of the Basic Box measures 45 x 30 cm and comes with a hard-wearing rain cover to protect your load. With the Flex Box, its name says it all: folded out, it offers an extended area of 45 by 65 cm, providing plenty of room for your sports bag or the weekly shopping. And you can conveniently load everything, thanks to the optional cargo bag that holds up to 90 litres. Opt for the Flex Box and child seat if you want to transport younger passengers. The child cover reliably protects your passengers from the wind and weather. (It accommodates up to two children age seven or younger. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.)

We have based the design of the Carrie on circular design principles: Circular design aims to develop products for the longest-possible service life, at the end of which they enter a new product life cycle. Its compact frame is made of recycled aluminium and is powder-coated to conserve resources. We have dispensed with PVC that can be potentially harmful to health with the optional child cover. The Carrie accessories are designed to be easy to dismantle, clean and repair, if necessary, to keep you on the road trouble-free for years to come.

Reliably practical.

The Bosch Performance Line motor and the PowerPack 545 Wh battery mounted vertically on the frame give you up to 60 kilometres from a single charge. And you can comfortably ride over kerbs or potholes, thanks to its optional suspension seatpost. With its adjustable saddle height and angle- and height-adjustable stem, the seat position can be configured to accommodate riders from 1.50 m to 2.00 m tall, and sporty to comfortable riding preferences.  

Intuvia 100

The Intuvia 100 display is simple and intuitive to use and offers a perfect overview of key riding data, including distance, trip duration, range, speed and riding mode. The Intuvia 100 also provides precise information on the battery charge level as a percentage. It can be conveniently operated using the LED Remote on the handlebars.

Flex Box

The Flex Box is an extension of the Basic Box (45 by 30 cm) for transporting larger loads and offers numerous transport options both when folded out and in. When collapsed, it is high enough to transport a regular drinks crate. And when folded out, its extended area of approx. 45 by 65 cm provides ample space for your weekly shopping or sports bag. It is fitted with a box lock that protects your load from unwanted access, if need be.

Child seat

A sturdy bench seat that can be suspended in the Flex Box in two different ways serves as a child seat. Depending on its position, it will accommodate either one taller or two smaller children age seven or younger – reliably protected by the five-point seat belts. And the comfortable back cushion automatically folds in when the Flex Box is closed. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.

Child seat with headrest

The headrest offers additional safety, especially when transporting taller children. A sturdy bench seat that can be suspended in the Flex Box in two different ways serves as a child seat. Depending on its position, it will accommodate either one taller or two smaller children age seven or younger – reliably protected by the five-point seat belts. And the comfortable back cushion automatically folds in when the Flex Box is closed. However, when the headrest is fitted, it cannot be closed. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.

Child cover

The child cover reliably protects your younger passengers from the wind, rain and sun. It can be combined with the optional Flex Box, which can still be easily folded out and closed even when the child cover is fitted. The cover includes an additional panel that you can either use to darken the viewing window or as a rear panel. We have deliberately refrained from using fibreglass rods and PVC film material in the production process.

Cargo bag

The practical cargo bag with two handles is perfect for loading and unloading your cargo. Alternatively, pre-drilled holes mean that you can screw it permanently to the floor of the Basic Box. The cargo bag holds up to 90 litres. There is also a zipped pocket on its outside that can hold smaller items.

Carrier

The carrier with MIK system provides even more storage space: you can quickly and securely attach pannier racks, baskets, bike accessories, and even a dog basket, to the sturdy adapter plate. Accessories can be obtained from your dealer.

Suspension seatpost by.Schulz G.2 ST with cover

The by.Schulz G.2 ST parallelogram-shaped spring seatpost offers a degree of comfort that makes any dirt track feel like a freshly paved road. There are five different hardness levels of suspension element to choose from depending on the rider’s weight and comfort preferences. The neoprene cover supplied protects the suspension element from dirt.

Additional chain lock with bag

The sturdy Abus chain lock, in addition to the Abus Shield frame lock, provides twice the security for your E-Bike. The 130 cm long chain is latched onto the frame lock and you can quickly lock your bike to the nearest lamppost or lock it together with up to three other bikes. The chain thickness of 6 mm ensures a high level of anti-theft protection. Especially practical: frame lock, chain lock and battery lock all use the same key. The bag is firmly attached to the saddle and allows quick and easy removal of the chain lock thanks to its ergonomic shape and Fidlock magnetic closure. Please note: for smaller frame sizes the lowest saddle position may not be usable when the lock bag is fitted.
