This is a preview of the 2022 Packster 70.  We hope to have an updated video of the Packster2 70 soon.

The Packster2 70 CT is available in three models:

• Packster2 70 CT Touring uses a traditional chain and cassette with the Shimano Cues, 11 Speed derailleur gear. It includes a 750Wh battery for the Bosch Cargo Line motor, and the Intuvia 100 display.

• Packster2 70 CT Vario features a Gates Carbon Belt, and the comfortable, continuous Enviolo hub gear ensuring you are always on the move in the perfect gear. The gears are also virtually maintenance and wear-free. Choose this option to be able to shift to any gear at any time and to avoid the maintenance and repair/replacement requirements found with a standard derailleur and cassette configuration. Read more about the Enviolo hub system here. Includes a 750Wh battery, Bosch Cargo Line motor, and the Intuvia 100 display.

• Packster2 70 CT Automatic holds the automatic Enviolo hub with belt drive and the Bosch Cargo Line motor. Comes with the Kiox 300 display.

Equipped for the future

The EPP transport box is fully recyclable and produced with zero emissions. Side impact protection and the five-point seat belts of the optional child seats reliably secure your passengers. They can get in and out with ease, thanks to the buggy option with half-height side walls, and the sturdy frame provides full protection at the same time as supporting the weather cover.

Maneuverability made easy.

The Packster2 70 CT is remarkably easy to handle – whether riding, parking, or getting on and off. Its cable-controlled steering ensures that you can manoeuvre effortlessly in tight spaces, even when fully loaded. Speaking of which: the optional carrier is capable of additionally transporting up to 15 kg.

Cargo Accessories

Buggy

The Buggy option stands out on account of its excellent safety and worry-free transport of children. Passengers can get in and out with ease, thanks to the box with its half-height side walls and pedal step. The aluminium frame features a sturdy polypropene roof, which can also act as collision protection for the rider. We have refrained from using PVC film material in the production of the permanently fitted and water-repellent cover. Depending on the weather, the side walls with tinted viewing windows can be partially or fully rolled up. A roll-up rear wall is also concealed under the roof, which can be connected to the side walls using a Velcro strip and protects the passengers from the wind and rain.

Double child seat

The double child seat with adjustable sitting and sleeping position holds two children age seven or younger. Five-point belts ensure maximum safety. Our child seats are made of 100% recycled material. Alternatively, you can transport larger loads by folding up the seat part of the double child seat. Double child seat and luggage shelf at the front

The double child seat with adjustable sitting and sleeping position holds two children age seven or younger. Five-point belts ensure maximum safety. Our child seats are made of 100% recycled material. The front luggage rack offers maximum storage space. When folded down, it lets you transport luggage up to the size of a crate of water, and secure it, thanks to eyelets and other fastening options with additional straps. Alternatively, the luggage rack can also be used as a table for your children with space underneath for their feet. When folded up, it creates a luggage compartment, the rubber straps of which securely fix slimmer objects, like shoulder bags, in place. The 47-litre box supplied fits perfectly onto the luggage rack or into a shopping trolley and, thanks to its food-safe and recyclable PP design, is ideal for your weekly shopping. Alternatively, you can transport larger loads by folding up the seat part of the double child seat. Please observe national regulations for the transport of children on bikes before using.

Three child seats

The double child seat with adjustable sitting and sleeping position along with a rear-facing single seat at the front allow you to carry up to three children. Five-point belts ensure maximum safety. Our child seats are made of 100% recycled material.
Alternatively, the seat part of the third child seat can be folded to the back to create a separate luggage compartment. For even more storage space, the seat parts of the double child seat can be folded up to the rear and those of the third child seat to the front.

Cargo Carry System

With its versatile polypropylene elements, the Cargo Carry System enables loads of various sizes to be safely transported. Depending on your needs, you have the option of a flat cargo surface, storage space in the bottom of the EPP box, up to three load compartments and a securing element for standard Euro boxes with two side pockets for smaller objects. In the event of a higher load, the cargo can be secured with additional straps using four eyelets.

Box with tarpaulin

We recommend strong, weatherproof tarpaulin to protect your cargo from dirt and rain. It will allow you to get your cargo to its destination clean and dry whatever the weather, while children can ride with the tarpaulin half or fully rolled back thanks to the flexible adjustment options.

Flat box cover

The flat, lockable box cover allows you to protect transported goods with a volume of up to 240 L against wind and weather. The folding polypropylene cover allows for easy loading and unloading.

High box cover

The high, lockable box cover made of EPP allows you to transport goods with the best protection and a maximum volume of about 375 L. And loading and unloading is still easy thanks to the low loading height.

Child cover

The year-round cover provides protection from the wind, rain, snow and sun in any season. Its height can be adjusted depending on the position of the handlebar. The practical partial opening function and additional sun protection provide shade and pleasant cooling in summer. In its summer position, even people up to 1.65 m tall can fit under the cover.

Lock for glove compartment

The glove compartment lock means small items are safely stowed away. The lock uses the same key as the battery lock and Abus frame lock and replaces the standard magnetic closure.

Additional Options

Carrier 

If the front storage space is not enough, there is always the optional carrier. It is ideal for attaching panniers, making it perfect for longer bike trips too. Since it is secured directly to the frame, it also benefits from the suspension thanks to Control Technology.

Comfort kit

The perfect option for anyone wanting to ride in greater comfort: the classically curved handlebars and wider saddle enable you to sit comfortably in an upright position.

DualBattery 1500

DualBattery Technology perfected by Riese & Müller ensures twice the range or far higher climbs, fewer charging breaks and longer-lasting riding pleasure. With the 1,500 Wh available, completely new destinations can be reached and you no longer have to worry about the range in your daily routine.

Additional chain lock with bag

The sturdy Abus chain lock, in addition to the Abus Shield frame lock, provides twice the security for your E-Bike.The 130 cm long chain is latched onto the frame lock and you can quickly lock your bike to the nearest lamppost or lock it together with up to three other bikes. The chain thickness of 6 mm ensures a high level of anti-theft protection. Especially practical: frame lock, chain lock and battery lock all use the same key. The bag is firmly attached to the saddle and allows quick and easy removal of the chain lock thanks to its ergonomic shape and Fidlock magnetic closure. Please note: for smaller frame sizes the lowest saddle position may not be usable when the lock bag is fitted.

Offroad kit option

If you like riding your E-Bike off-road, then simply equip it with first-class all-terrain tires. The SnakeSkin side wall of the Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus tires guarantees exceptional grip especially when cornering. A 3 mm protective cover around the inner tube provides extra-secure puncture resistance.

Kiox 300

The Kiox 300 display is perfect for sporty riders: it displays more than just fitness data, helping riders to optimise their training. It is even possible to pair it with heart rate monitors via Bluetooth. Map-free navigation (only in conjunction with a smartphone) completes the features of the Kiox 300. It can be intuitively operated using the LED Remote on the handlebars.

Bosch eBike ABS 2.0

The Bosch eBike ABS 2.0 with Magura ABS brake ensure that you remain safely in the saddle even when you need to brake suddenly – both on solid asphalt roads or gravel tracks. It prevents tires from slipping, the rear wheel lifting and the whole bike skidding out to the side.
